Lovely hotel on a quiet...
- What did you like most? The Hotel is classically beautiful. We love being close to the action but far enough away for it to be quiet. Our room looked over the mountains and it was very nice to sit on the balcony enjoying the view. We love the room layout and especially loved the bathroom and how it is so spacious. (and of course the heated toilet seat) The staff was nice and service over all was good.
- Was there anything you didn't like?We arrived on a Sunday and the pool bar was overwhelmed with non-guests getting cocktails. (They said they weren't) I waited for at least 20-30 minutes. My husband couldn't get a drink at the pool bar where he sat and was told to "get in line." The rest of our stay the service there was fine. Also, on Monday and Tuesday nights the Plumaria restaurant is closed so the only restaurant is the Italian one off the parking lot. As we found this all out too late, they had no seating available. Guests were bringing in UBER Eats bags for food. We intended to stay in but had to go out for dinner. It was a frustrating night and for this caliber of hotel it should not happen.
Great location but hotel is...
- What did you like most?Location, beach, lobby, dolphins! Some restaurants (Italian place nearby) were very good as well.
- Was there anything you didn't like? The food selection and quality inside the restaurant is not great, particularly given the price! Got food poisoned twice from their fruits and then sashimi. Bellboy demanded a tip on luggage delivery and made my cashless wife stressed! Bed back panel upholstery was dirty upon arrival.
